My friend and I stopped by Saturday around 6 pm and got SRO tickets. I'd almost recommend them over the rush seats - the rush seats are so far to the side you miss out on some of the action on the sides and certain things that happen far upstage.

FYI, SRO is being sold for both shows today.

A Chorus Line played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013.

Just got word that the remaining shows for this week, including tonight's show, are sold out and SRO will be sold. Not sure if it'll be offered for opening night (Sunday).

"So no general rush is being offered at all?

I'm so encouraged by how they seem to be packing them in thus far, though I know it's early and I realize they're not quite making money hand over fist.  Saw the show during the run in DC over Labor Day Weekend...I just wanted to see a show at Ford's Theatre and didn't REALLY know what I was getting into, but so glad it was this show!

Headed to NYC this weekend, primarily for the Big East Tournament but my team lost today so I've got a bit more flexibility.  Had bought a ticket for The Price over the summer so seeing that Saturday afternoon, but might have to try for SRO at some point.

ACL, this might be a silly question but is Sunday a 3pm curtain or is it actually at night?  I know it's a long shot but would love to get into the official opening and would absolutely get up early to line up if I had to...but this plan only works if it's at 3, as my flight is at 7:30.  Appreciate all the info you're providing!

1.) general rush should still be offered. Those select seats are set aside in advance, though the # of rush tickets might be less than what's been offered.

2.) I don't know the actually time for opening night on Sunday, but it isn't 3pm.

I'm flying across the country with the sole hope that I can somehow snag any kind of ticket for opening night. Sure hope I can manage it.

Crazy? Yes I am.

(Any tips appreciated!)

I asked in the previews thread, but thought I'd ask here.

Can you buy box seats in advance? I'm going in a few weeks and hoping to just buy these a few days before I see it.

Just making sure I understand what you were referring to earlier, ACL. Do you think there will be rush and / or SRO for opening night?

I still don't know. Sorry. Box office opens at noon on Sunday, so if you're in the area ,stop by and ask.
