I recently managed to grab right orchestra row F, seats 18-20, for a late August performance. These tickets just showed up on Telecharge out of the blue. Being the last seats at the far end of the row, does anyone know if we'll have an obstructed view? I've read the earlier posts in this thread and some have mentioned problems with the first couple of rows, but my seats are in row F.
The tickets were priced at $199 each, which is less than half the price of the other seats that are currently showing up at the last minute (seems like everything has been $450 lately). I'm trying to decide whether I should keep watching for something more central (and obviously much more expensive) to become available, or keep what I have because the added cost would be so substantial. Any thoughts on whether it would be worth the money to move closer in? I've seen the show once before, but my husband has not.

I sat in these exact seats on Tuesday night.
I had seen the show before, so I let my dad have seat 18 for a tiny bit better view. You miss some of the projections on far stage left since the side of the stage is cut off a bit, and I missed Connor on stage during 'Words Fail' when the family walks off, but my dad in seat 18 could see him. You miss Ben's face in the beginning of 'For Forever' because Zoe is between you and him, and you miss Cynthia on the back bed during 'Requiem.' That's all I can remember missing. Because I've seen it before, it didn't bug me. I'd let the other person sit in seat 18 and you sit in 20.
The PROS to these seats? Oh man. Ben spends so much more time on that side of the stage than I remembered. And you get THE BEST views during the climax of the play, he is facing your direction during 'Words Fail' because of his position in regards to the Murphys during the song.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! If you'd had the opportunity to upgrade to center orchestra, would you have done it (given the cost differential)?

Hello--long time follower on these threads, first time poster! I have tickets for Mezzanine Row A, seats 24 and 26 marked partial view (all the way to the right), I believe because of the sound system in the right box. This is our first time seeing the show and they're the only tickets I could get so I'm just wondering if anyone knows how partial the view is? We wayyyy overpaid for these seats (grrr Stubhub), so I'm just trying to set my expectations. Sorry if this particular question has already been asked/answered!

Last month I was lucky enough to purchase a ticket for the November 8th 8:00 p.m. performance. My seat is Mezzanine Row C, Seat 12. Good seat?
Also, what should I expect in regards to legroom? I'm a tall guy who sometimes suffers from knee pain especially after walking all over NYC. I actually cried from knee pain when I saw the last revival of Cabaret - ticket bought at TKTS - I was in the Balcony I believe. I actually had to get up during the first act and stand at the entryway. I hated to do that and disrupt others' momentary enjoyment of the show, but I couldn't tolerate the pain one more minute. During intermission the ushers were able to secure me an aisle seat for the remainder of the show. I had a similar experience during Hamilton when I saw it two years ago. Paid through the nose (although now those prices seem almost reasonable) through hotel concierge for nosebleed seats in balcony with almost zero legroom. I toughed it out and despite the discomfort, Ham remains my favorite Broadway experience. So I know I'll enjoy DEH regardless, but would like to know what to expect regarding this seating area's view and legroom. I usually try to get aisle seats but it's not always feasible. I saw Pippin at this theater. I don't recall it being an aisle seat, but was in the orchestra and don't recall any problems with legroom.
When I saw DEH, a tall person who was having trouble with the legroom came down at intermission and asked an usher if there was anything to be done. I was watching the show SRO that day, and I happened to be standing right next to them (at my spot) when this conversation was going on. The usher asked the man if he wanted to switch spots with an SRO person, and he said yes, so I got his seat, and he got my SRO spot! So IF you end up too uncomfortable, that may be an option for you! Enjoy the show!

It's a great seat. occasionally the bed will block Ben's face, and you have to look up all the time. you can't see the screens that well, but otherwise it's great A lot of the action takes place right in front of you

I sat in that exact seat when I saw the show during previews. Back then, it wasn't sold as a partial view, but I got it for 50% off at TKTS, so I didn't complain. That being said, the stage is high, and the front row is very close to it, so you'll be looking up the entire time. I don't remember missing anything significant, since just about all of the action and dialogue takes place downstage, but I couldn't see the actors' feet unless they were at the lip of the stage, and anything going on towards the rear of the stage was pretty much lost. Even though it was great to see Ben Platt's physical performance up close, I wouldn't want to sit there again. It's just too uncomfortable.
