SURVIVOR: Millenials vs. Gen X |
I agree. She was my favorite this season too. I find the rest of the cast this go round to be extremely boring.

I liked her and was sorry to see her go. She was my third favorite after Ken and Adam. I can see why people didn't like her. She seemed to talk down to people and be really bossy. I am really surprised that before she left, she didn't throw Jay under the bus and mention his idol. Did you see Hannah's face before the vote? The poor thing was a nervous wreck. If the environment doesn't get to her...her nerves and anxiety will. But good for her for recognizing that Brett was a cop and not a funeral director. David really needs to get that growth on the side of his face looked at. It is not as obvious with his beard coming in. He looks like he has some kind of infection.
But good for her for recognizing that Brett was a cop and not a funeral director.
Well...but seriously...it wasn't that difficult. Listening to him say anything about "funeral directing" was painful. If he wanted to hide his occupation (has that ever worked in anyone's favor?), he needed to choose one he knew SOMETHING about.

Yeah, but it wasn't so much that she knew he wasn't a funeral director...that was obvious. It was her correct assessment that he was a cop.
My favorites are Ken and Adam too, but I also liked Michaela. She was funny and a competition beast. They were smart to get rid of her when she made the mistake of displaying all her strategy so soon. That's the kind of stuff you keep to yourself or only share with your ride or die.
So much of the millenial tribe is stupid and they don't have their heads in the game. When she revealed how much she was thinking about it and that she was 50 moves ahead of everyone else it rightly freaked them out. The target was painted and they knew they would never be able to outfox her later on.

Agree.
Though I wasn't a huge fan of hers, I appreciated her game.
Hannah is just a waste of space.
My favorites are Ken and Jessica. (I know I'm in the minority there).
Looking forward to what comes after the merge
But, in the meantime, that was an awesome blindside.
Adam, Adam, Adam. You say you're a fan of the show. You should know to keep your mouth shut, especially around a POS like Taylor.
Anyone still watching this season? That second hour of tonight's episode was quite possibly one of the top 10 best hours in Survivor history!! Just.... WOW!!
Supersam, I agree. . But because many people were talking at once I didn't catch some of the conversation. What was the insult that was hurled towards David? Either Brett or Zeke said it, I think. Brett said something insulting to Ken that I didn't catch also. Hannah should have known that group was throwing her a wrong name, especially since she felt she was the target. If she went with her gut, Zeke would be gone.
I knew Zeke wouldn't be going anywhere since Probst said in some interview before the season started that Zeke was an exciting part of this season, and he hasn't really done anything exciting yet.

I hated to see Jess go that way.
It is great that some reality shows have progressed to a point where the participants are not identified by their sexuality. When the two men were talking about being gay I was thinking how I had not thought that much about whether they were gay or not.
I was totally fine with either Hannah or Zeke going home, so that ending was a particularly sad result. Stupid that nobody had a contingency plan for an expected tie vote. But I was actually pretty bored with everything before that second tribal council and really only sorta half-watched it. Throwing out Ken's name to Hannah was such a shrewd move on their part. Her paranoia and gullibility make her so easy to manipulate. She might get to the end simply for being so easy to control and a non-threat. I don't think I've ever seen this much conspiratorial talk during tribals ever. It's bizarre.
This season has the most bizarre tribal councils ever. And the editing is all over the place because half the time, there is a huge disconnect between the narrative of the episode and the outcome. I know how much the show loves a "blindside", but I feel like the audience is being blindsided almost as much as the contestants. It's all really weird. That being said, I was fine with the results this week, though Will's petulant whining made wish it was him that went home instead.
After that stupid stunt he pulled, I am off the Ken bandwagon. The editing during tribal is quite obvious. Jeff always seems to ask the same people questions. Then he goes back to the same person (David) and asks a new question while some others don't speak at all. Adam for the win. Although she comes across clueless, Hannah is starting to grow on me. The remaining, I don't like enough to make an opinion. David....maybe. If he makes it to the final 3, that could be enough of a win for him.
Yeah, I don't know what other result Ken expected from his stupid move, which was driven purely by ego. I'm sort of backing Adam now as well. Still not sure about David. He's just so wishy-washy. I'd love to see Bret and Sunday get more involved in the game. Hannah's naive ignorance irks me too much. But as a strategy, I haven't really understood why she keeps getting targeted.
Has anyone seen the Jon Hamm episodes on 30 Rock where he is in the "handsome bubble"? I think that is what really fits the game Ken is playing. It's seeming like he is handsome, so it doesn't really matter what he says or does. Alec Baldwin explains much better than me:

For me, Adam was the winner. I called it quite some time ago. I was rooting for Ken also, until he made that blunder some weeks ago, when he heard his name brought up and confronted Jay. What sealed Ken's fate to me, was turning on David. He should have left it to fate with Adam and David making fire. Then he could still continue to say he stayed loyal to the very end. He lost at least Jessica's vote and maybe some others when he made that move and wrote David's name down. Hell, David used his idol to save Ken when he thought he was in trouble. The second Adam mentioned his mother to the jury it was Game Over. Had Ken brought David, if he had won the fire contest, voting could have been really close between the two. Many on the jury did not like David. Ken could have easily won it over him. Ken played a cleaner game with really no enemies. David played a smarter game (his fake idol was genius) but burned bridges along the way.

Yeah, meh. Adam as a winner did nothing for me.
Interesting season.
And now we're back to returning players. I liked having a season of all new competitors.
I didn't want Adam to win, but out of that final three that's probably who I would have voted for too. Ken lost me when he voted David out. I think Hannah had a case to make for winning, but she was horrible during final tribal.
I prefer a season of new players too, but I was very happy to hear Micheala is coming back!
