That Mr Rogers clip is great.

An online friend of mine wrote a pretty great obit for her at Xtra Canada (a gay weekly.) He loved her (more than I did, frankly, much more,) and interviewed her many times over the years. While it's mostly praise he does mention things he found surprising or disappointing (like her strong Republican stance.) Anyway it's here: http://dailyxtra.com/toronto/news/joan-rivers-dead-at-81

And purely for nostalgia--her entire Showtime special, the infamously awful Joan Rivers Salute Heidi Abromowitz, is online as well. Wow, that laugh track. And wow all the 80s "celebrities" (Robin Leech touring her sex room complete with a Dog and chains? Hilarious.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94XAmUesb68

Did anyone see the short lived, hour long "Comedy Soap Opera" she created and wrote in the late 70s, Husbands, Wives and Lovers -- with a fairly surprising list of stars? All I can find is the opening credits (she helped write the, umm, catchy theme song,) and I've always wanted to see more even if it's probably awful. Credit sequence is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZwRFRQzG-s

Eric, thanks for the clip of HW&L!! So fun, and I'd LOVE to see the episodes...so late 70's! Lynne Marie Stewart (Miss Yvonne), Randee Heller and Charles Seibert!

And...Ron Rifkin!

It should be mentioned that Joan was a gifted actress. Well before SALLY MARR, she wrote and starred in a play called FUN CITY which also starred Gabe Dell, Rose Marie and Paul Ford. It was a zany sitcom that didn't last very long.

When Joan replaced Linda Lavin in the original BROADWAY BOUND, she was very effective in the character's monologue about dancing with George Raft.

May she rest in peace!

Funny and a class of her own, heaven just received another talented funny angel. My thoughts go to her family.

May she rest in peace.

I love the way death turns formerly negative accounts into positive ones! When I'm gone, I want you all to resist the urge to beatify me!

PS I didn't want to go see her or Broadway Bound but my then-partner did so we did and I'm glad I saw the performance. Except for the already damaged vocal chords, she was able to do quiet and delicate rather well.
