See them shooting here around town a lot... (season 3 started last week I believe; the production signs are all over.) Another reason to wanna peek at the set!

HorseTears, I'm cool. It's somebody else who seems to need to pick a fight. I didn't realize you were being facetious, but I wasn't heated about it.

You said "compared to every show" which means every show that exists. That is fundamentally untrue. She is playing a charactor that will sing, since she is playing an artist. I've watched every episode and the artists all sing.

"Compared to every show" was hyperbole, Sutton. Clearly, I think. And now I realize HorseTears was being facetious. But THE WIRE is invoked a lot; I understand it was a great show, but not the only one on TV.

As for "everyone" singing, they do not do so in every episode. We didn't even know Gunther's girlfriend was a singer until Season 2. Benanti could easily do a three-episode arc without having an opportunity to sing; it will depend on the story. Do I expect her to sing? Sure. Is it a certainty? Hardly.

Why are we fighting about this?

Maybe she'll be like Barbara Harris in Nashville the movie where she keeps getting shot down at her attempts to sing and then knocks everyone's socks off at the tail end!
