Who else could have played Francesca?

Errico has the PERFECT look for the role, but if she had some problems playing Clara in Passion (regardless what the issue was,) I wonder if she could handle Franny 8x a week. Shes a nice fit for the tour though.

It would've been nice to hear Kate Baldwin sing the score.

Marin, Carolee, Benanti, and Errico are all marvelous choices. I could see Erico or Marin touring it. Mairn and Jason would be MAGICAL.

Melissa Errico does not have the vocal stamina for this role!! She would be an inspired choice for a short run, but her vocal chords couldn't handle this (coming from an Errico fan).

I think Carolee Carmello would be fantastic in this, maybe even Rachel York for this.

Meryl Streep should've reprised her movie role. Maybe then the musical would've been a hit, and Streep could've won her Tony and been three-quarters of the way to an EGOT.
