She'd make a great Rose in Gypsy. She wouldn't even have to act. She could just play herself. Desperate fame whore trying to make stars out of untalented daughters...hmmm...where have I heard that before?

I dont understand why everyone is freaking out. All she said is that she wants to be on Broadway, so do a lot of people. Doesn't mean its going to happen!

When you consider some of the Weisslers' celebrity casting choices for (my favorite show) "Chicago", there is cause for alarm.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

"Here's the thing: people WILL buy tickets to see her. Christie Brinklely sold tickets and she was the worst thing I'd ever seen on stage. If people stopped celebrity-whoring, this kind of thing would never happen."

Wait, you celebrity-whored Christie Brinklely, but you want others to stop?

Talented people are on Broadway, she doesn't qualify.

So, you believe all the stunt casting in Chicago involved talented people? If the producer wants a name that will generate sales regardless of talent, they will put them in the show. That's just part of the Broadway business.
