I have seen reviews online from people who have seen the movie and i can tell you right the now the whole measuring the daughter up to be a stripper is not true. I would say Coming Up Roses is used to rather evoke the mothers obsession with musical theater and her reluctance to admit that everything in her world has turned to ****, and she can no longer escape that.

I'm totally going to see it. Just like I will run to see Jon Hamm in "Blow Gabriel Blow" if anybody makes a movie starring Jon Hamm and calls it that.

I want a porn movie called "Coming Up Noses", featuring lots of facial close-ups.

If anyone is interested in knowing what the movie is REALLY about (and nothing here comes close), you may want to go to this site and read the synopsis.

The only gig the teenage daughter gets is I believe as a drug dealer, and unbeknownst to her mother.

If, in Mamma Mia!, Meryl Streep could play a 40 year old woman whose youth was both in the 60s AND the 80s, then Bernadette can play the mother of these children!
