My apologies, I stand corrected. However Caissie will be 37 when she opens in Frozen if this is indeed true. And again, I have nothing against her in talent - I am just discussing age.

The age thing is not just a Disney issue...it's been traditional to cast older people to play teenagers, young adults...in film, tv AND theater. I mean Olivia Newton John was 30 when she was in high school in Grease...which to me was ridiculous. The entertainment industry does not do that as much anymore...but it still happens.

I just don't like it...

I will still see Frozen regardless of the cast, but as it has been stated before Betsy would have been and still could be perfection as Elsa. Perhaps she will still do it on Broadway? Maybe after Cassie?
