No presidential candidate has overcome Trump's current poll deficit this late

The polls are coming fast and furious right now, and they're increasingly bad for Donald Trump. In fact, we can now say this: Were Trump to actually win, it would represent the biggest late comeback in the history of presidential polls.

Monmouth University is the most recent to show a big swing in Hillary Clinton's favor. Its just-released national survey has her leading Trump by 12 points, 50-38. That 12-point margin is the biggest so far this month. A new NBC-Wall Street Journal poll over the weekend also had Clinton ahead by double digits -- 11 points -- and other recent high-quality polls have shown her up 9 points(NBC-WSJ last week), 8 points (George Washington University), 7 points (Fox News) and 4 points (Washington Post-ABC News).

According to HuffPost Pollster, Clinton's average lead in these high-quality polls is now 8.9 points.

 

At this point in the cycle, no candidate who has seen such big deficits in any poll -- much less the average of all polls -- has recovered to win. The only poll of the six mentioned above that is even within the margin is the Post-ABC poll.

Joy Villa's music sales skyrocketed after the singer wore a pro-Trump dress at Sunday night's 59th annual Grammy Awards. When she arrived at the Grammys, Villa flung off a white frock to reveal a gown of patriotic red, white and blue that urged "Make America Great Again" and had "Trump" in sparkly letters on the back hem.

The 25-year-old's EP "I Make the Static" jumped to the top of Amazon's top digital paid albums and reached number seven on the iTunes top album chart after her red carpet appearance.

I though the right believed politics had no place in entertainment awards ceremonies.  Why aren't they condemning Joy Villa with the vitriol served to Meryl Streep?  The elitist establishment and all that.  Hmmm...  Of course, they can't even admit that Captain Creamsicle and his entire family not only representing the elite, they have spent their lifetimes marketing, branding and promoting elitism.  Of course, they also cry "fake news" while citing Fox News.  I guess the reverse in attitudes on politics at entertainment awards isn't that unexpected after all.  It's just HILARIOUS now.

Flynn and his sons were also involved in spreading the idiotic rumors about pizza and child abuse that people like Petra and the Concierge probably still believe are true.

In the course of my duties as the incoming National Security Advisor, I held numerous phone calls with foreign counterparts, ministers, and ambassadors. These calls were to facilitate a smooth transition and begin to build the necessary relationships between the President, his advisors and foreign leaders. Such calls are standard practice in any transition of this magnitude.

Unfortunately, because of the fast pace of events, I inadvertently briefed the Vice President Elect and others with incomplete information regarding my phone calls with the Russian Ambassador. I have sincerely apologized to the President and the Vice President, and they have accepted my apology.

Throughout my over thirty three years of honorable military service, and my tenure as the National Security Advisor, I have always performed my duties with the utmost of integrity and honesty to those I have served, to include the President of the United States.

Though he appears to be stonewalling on Flynn, looks like Chaffetz is at least inquiring about the apparent breach of security protocol at Mar-a-Lago.
