For me the worst queen ever is still the unspeakable Delta Work -- mean, vicious, cruel, stupid and devoid of any interest at all.

I would, for the first time, be happy with any of this Top Three winning the crown. It was really refreshing this season to have a dearth of nasty bitchery.

Ru made the correct choice of a top three- Chi Chi is great, but her overall work in the competition hasn't been consistent. Still, Bob is the clear winner to me.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

newintown, I came to this thread to say the exact same thing as you did. I hope Bob wins, but if he doesn't, I'll be equally happy for Naomi or Kim. It's been a fantastic season, I'm sad to see it end RuPaul's Drag Race Season 8 Thread!

What a fantastic top four, and their rapport and camaraderie in the workroom was touching. I really would've been happy with any Top 3 arrangement, but this is the optimal one. Any of the three could feasibly win.

Great top four and an even better top three, my picks for the crown would be either Bob or Kim

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

I would have slightly preferred Chi Chi over Kim Chi, but ultimately I'm happy. I'm still pulling for Bob. Though I like Naomi and Kim Chi, Bob really deserves the win. If Kim Chi wins, I'll be a little bummed.

I've seen a lot of support for Kim which surprises me, to be honest. Her makeup skills are world-class, of course, but I don't think being a good makeup artist means that she deserves the crown. Bob is an absolute star, and as talented as Kim and Naomi are, I can't see why he doesn't deserve to win.

Happy with the winner - a clear winner, unlike some past seasons.

Just wanted to say, when I saw Kim Chi's first dress the only thing I could think of was Fifi D'Orsay's dress from Follies - the "walking feather duster".

Glad Bob won -- "purse first" is an inspired line.

Is it just Time Warner Cable, or is it just Logo's being too cheap to go HD that makes the show so hideously ugly to look at -- it looks all too often like they're broadcasting some 4th generation VHS copy.

Kim Chi is undoubtedly the best look queen and makeup artist ever on the show, but she is too immature and lacking in poise or dynamism to have been crowned when Bob was there. I'm more than happy to take Bob's "ratchet" (not really, though) drag along with her smarts, wit, and star quality. She knew how to play the game really well.

Bob was the only queen they could hand the crown to for one simple reason-- he's the only one of the finalists who could TALK! Having just finished a year where the reigning queen Miss Chatchki appeared to be little more than a spectacular mannequin (but a REALLY spectacular one), it would do no good to reward Kim Chi with the crown now-- another brilliant creator of lewks, but honestly for me not much more. Bob had the crown in the bag (his purse) from about the 3rd episode on, and for me things played out just as they should.

As for lovely Naomi Smalls, frankly I was shocked and saddened at how 3rd rate she came off last night, having slayed quite a few challenges during the competition. Had she showed up in a more elaborate version of her Realness avant-garde look (blue plastic vest-hoodie thingie and white thigh-highs) your eyes would have stayed with her all night. Gurl will have an awesome career going forward though. She drips with pure drag.

Stayed tuned in for the Gay for Play show afterward -- what a bore, which is something I never thought I'd say about Ru. I say ditch the game and just have the boys dance around in smaller and smaller shorts. Is that wrong?

This is why I often opt to wait until the day after it airs to watch it online on Logo's site where HD is an option.

For what it's worth, Verizon Fios does have Logo in HD, and it's glorious. It's night and day, honestly.

Yeah, LOGO is still a small network by cable standards and not every provider will shell out for HD. I buckled and just bought the season pass on Amazon and the show looked the best it ever has for me.
