Hi! Having just seen Barefoot yesterday afternoon, I thought I'd share in the love ... Patrick was fabulous! I had an awesome orchestra seat so I had a perfect view of everything. I found myself watching him during some of the slower parts that I was familiar with from the movie and I was really impressed with his smaller expressions when no one's really supposed to be focused on him (as well as everything else). I truly think the whole audience fell in love with him during the performance. Afterwards, he was a hit at stage door. There was a group of about 20 girls from Maryland who asked for several pictures and he was very warm and obliging to them and others. When everyone was done, he walked away to dinner with his beautiful wife. I loved it!

According to this article in October, the DVD of "Purple Violets" is to be released this month (December 2007). If anyone hears about a date, please let us know! http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-ed-burns29oct29,0,12681.story Last paragraph: "One problem for Apple is that its downloadable movies cannot be burned onto conventional DVDs, making it harder to watch them on a living-room TV. Although solutions are emerging, the market just may not be ready for what Burns is doing. Still, it's good to see someone taking the risk. At the very least, more of Burns' fans will know what he's been up to when the "Purple Violets" DVD comes out in December"

joined: 1/31/04 | "Barry Munday" cast up-date Posted On: 3/27/08 at 08:10 AM
They've announced more cast members for "Barry Munday"! From The Hollywood Reporter: "March 26, 2008 NEW YORK -- Judy Greer, Chloe Sevigny, Cybill Shepherd and Billy Dee Williams will star with Patrick Wilson in director Chris D'Arienzo's dark romantic comedy "Barry Munday." Wilson will play the title character, a womanizer who gets attacked, loses his testicles and discovers that a brief fling with a woman (Greer) he can't remember has led to a paternity suit. Sevigny will play the woman's flirtatious sister, who has a secret life and no compunctions about coming on to Munday. Shepherd will play their mother, and Williams is cast as the tough boss at Munday's insurance company. The film marks a breakout lead role for Greer (ABC's "Miss Guided"). "Munday" was adapted by D'Arienzo from Frank Turner Hollon's novel "Life Is a Strange Place." It is co-financed by Mickey Barold and Stone Douglass' Stick N Stone Prods. and Matthew Weaver and Scott Prisand's Corner Store Entertainment. Weaver, Barold, Douglass and Kopeloff are producing. Prisand, Rob Ortiz, Marcos Siega and Carl Levin are exec producing. Shooting is set to begin in next month in Los Angeles."
