I think the show will end up closing when Ebersole's contract is up, but I'd love to see Victoria Clark. I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I think Clark would be a brilliant fit for Edith in Act 1. But I don't she'd be as great a fit for Little Edit in Act 2 - though I'm sure she could pull it.
