I like the idea of it, but honestly from the end of the block I couldn't understand what it was saying.

I actually think it's pretty gorgeous. They used their space quite well. I can see the problem though with the banners/letters.

I walked by it today and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

I really like it, especially the banners.

Whoever thought of putting those flags on the theater's façade was pretty genius. Between "The Addams Family" cartoons, to "A Christmas Story" leg lamp, and now the MOTOWN name, it works beautifully.

I have no real interest in seeing this, but I think (from the pix) it looks pretty terrific.

They should of had them printed in reverse on the opposite sides.

True. I think the Lunt always has a pretty classy marquee.
However, that Marquis marquee right across from it is awful.

Looks like the Motown restaurant they had in Vegas.

Can someone tell me, is this a revue or is it a book musical with scenes, songs and characters? I understand there are characters (Diana Ross etc) but I was wondering was it just people singing different Motown songs?

It's Berry Gordy's story. So yes, it is a book musical

Wow, this is really pretty!
