None of the cast seemed to agree on what kind of/what show they were in, tonally and energy-wise.

Also, just want to say I immensely enjoyed Lithgow, Hecht and especially Eric Sheffer Stevens & Steven Boyer's performances. Unfortunately Annette Bening was really rather embarrassing. I was most excited to see her and ended up getting lots of emotionless reciting and hollow hand gesturing.
