The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre and Children's Theatre held its first Princess Breakfast during the summer of 2008 and it was an instant success. Since then, the theatre has offered a princess Breakfast each year, with the event usually selling out within the first two weeks of tickets going on sale. The Princess Breakfasts are part of Way Off Broadway's Family Breakfast Series that all began with the wildly popular Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus). From that holiday breakfast came the yearly Princess Breakfasts where guests are transported to a world full of magic, fairytale characters, and, of course, princes and princesses. This year's Princess Breakfast will Sunday, July 24th.

During the breakfast, guests have a chance to meet some of the most famous princesses and characters in fairytale history. Way Off Broadway's Princess Breakfasts are an extension of the theatre's one-of-a-kind Children's Theatre which has been bringing quality family entertainment to Frederick for over a decade. Having produced such shows as Sleeping Beauty, The Three Little Pigs, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Thumbelina, Rapunzel, and Aladdin, among many others, the Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre has become one of the most popular destinations in the area for birthday parties, school groups, or families looking for a fun weekend activity.

"Seeing some of the little girls come in dressed as princesses is absolutely adorable," says Deb Kiska, one of Way Off Broadway's owners and the driving force behind the theatre's Breakfast Series. "The Princess Breakfast is an event people look forward to every year. It's a magical morning that the whole family can enjoy together."

The Princess Breakfasts 2011 begins at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning, July 24, 2011. Tickets are $16.00 per person and can be purchased by visiting the theatre or calling the Box Office at (301) 662-6600.
