It's the most wonderful time of the year. So now is the time to get into the holiday spirit and celebrate the joy of the season by attending special seasonal events at the Community College of Baltimore County. Many are free and the others are family-friendly priced so bring your family and friends too.

DECEMBER

December 1 - WINTER BAZAAR (CCBC Dundalk)

10 a.m. - 2 p.m., CCBC Dundalk, College Community Center, First Floor (immediately after the Holiday Tree Lighting)

CCBC Dundalk's "Fundalk" Committee hosts its annual Winter Bazaar to help you get a jump on your holiday shopping while supporting a worthy cause. Funds from the vendor table rentals will go to the Student Life Pantry.

FREE Admission! Students, faculty, staff and the community are all welcome to attend.

December 1-5 - LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST - The Musical (CCBC Essex Academic Theatre)

December 1, 11:10 a.m.; December 2 and 3, 8 p.m.; December 4, 3 p.m. and December 5, 10 a.m., CCBC Essex, Robert and Eleanor Romadka College Center, Theatre

$8 general admission, $5 seniors, students, CCBC faculty, staff, and alumni, free for CCBC students with current ID.

December 1 - ALUMNI HOLIDAY SHOWCASE (CCBC Alumni Association)
5-8 p.m., CCBC Dundalk, College Community Center, First Floor

CCBC Alumni are invited to enjoy complimentary light snacks while you do some early holiday shopping with our creative craft vendors. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items for the CCBC Dundalk Student Life Pantry.

December 3 - GOUCHER UNIVERSITY'S CHOREOGRAPHIE ANTIQUE (Performing Arts)
7 p.m., CCBC Essex, Robert and Eleanor Romadka College Center, Upper Lobby

Prior to the Dec. 3 performance of Love's Labour's Lost at 8 p.m., CCBC will be presenting Choreographie Antique, Goucher University's resident historical Dance Company, to explore the social dances of Shakespeare's time.

December 9 - WHAT WAS THE CHRISTMAS STAR? (Planetarium show)

8 p.m., CCBC Catonsville, Benjamin Banneker Planetarium, Math and Science Hall

There are many different explanations concerning what could have been the "Star of Bethlehem." Come see both ancient writings and modern technology on which some of the explanations are based.

Outside observing afterwards, weather permitting.
