The Strand Theater Company takes part in the renown Baltimore Playwrights Festival, currently in its 34th season, to present a premiere production of I Am Saving Myself for Steve Martin, by Ann V. Wixon. Divorced, forty-five, and facing an uncertain future, Eve attends her first SWASS (Single Women Actively Seeking Sex) meeting. After all, how hard can it be for a divorced woman to get laid by a guy that's not a schmuck? It turns out not so easy. Will our hero get lucky? Or will she have to save herself for Steve Martin? Directed by Miriam Bazensky.

The production will run Thursdays through Saturdays, July 23 through August 8 at 8pm (no show on August 1st), and Sundays July 26th and August 2nd at 2pm. Location - Church & Company - 3647 Falls Road Baltimore, MD 21211. Tickets are $15, $12 for Seniors, $10 for Students and Artists, and can be purchased at www.strand-theater.org.
