Strand Theater Company presents a Baltimore Premiere of You Probably Think This Play Is About You by Maija DiGiorgio - a one-woman hilarious and meaningful exploration of love and life, artifice and theatrics, through the eyes of modernized Shakespearean characters. Closely related to Shakespeare's As You Like It, like Rosalind, Maija dons a variety of "masks" in her effort to trick the man of her dreams into falling in love with her. Written by Maija DiGiorgio, Adam Greenbaum, and Tony Martinelli. Choreographed by Heather McConnell. Directed by Rain Pryor. The production will begin with a Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, March 21, will officially open the following night, and run through April 6. Tickets to the Dress Rehearsal are $5, Opening Night - $25, general admission $20, Seniors (over 65) - $15, Students (with ID) -$10.

The show is a mid-season substitution for the previously scheduled Broke Wide Open, which encountered scheduling and royalty conflicts.

About the show Don't miss this "How to make yourself look better than him, while revealing to him that you are in love with him, without making a fool of yourself...Instead making yourself look like a genius dream girl on a theatrical level so that the world applauds you...which makes him look 2 feet tall... (which isn't much taller than he already is), driving him to plummet to a premature death. IF he still, after all the trouble you've gone through, has the balls to reject you, which will not matter because you're going to blow up without him anyway, and be rich and famous, and you'll be with someone-anyone, anyone you want that's richer, taller, and has more hair than that a**hole you wrote this stupid show for" show!!!!
