Laurel Mill Playhouse will present their One Act Festival, produced by Marvin & Maureen Rogers and Diana & Larry Simmons, on September 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 & 25, 2011

Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm

WAITING ON THE MOON

Playwright/Director: Christopher Dwyer

Set in 1983, WAITING ON THE MOON is a redemption story. Marla Williams lost her youngest daughter in 1981 and has not come to grips with the fact that she is not coming home. She waits up for her most nights, hoping that she will return. The play deals with how a family copes with the loss and the comradery of a small town in the south as they help the victims overcome their grief.
