The Iceman Cometh is Eugene O'Neill's look at the potential to really possess our dreams and relations in life. Set in the back room of a Skid Row saloon in 1912 - a political year of social questions relevant to us even today – the strength of hope and change is on trial. Within this room, peopled with colorful characters, the play charms and reveals the best of intentions with perhaps the worst of deeds. Dreams and lies struggle to transcend this shabby life… If only Hickey arrives then good times can be expected as surely as the next round of drinks will be served.

The Iceman Cometh is directed by Lynda McClary, who helped introduce the tremendously fun tradition of British Panto to Baltimore audiences with FPCT's very popular production of Cinderella, in 2004. She also wrote and directed the original Panto, Jack & The Beanstalk in 2005. An accomplished actor, Lynda has also appeared in many FPCT productions, including: Mere Mortals, Don Juan in Hell, The House of Blue Leaves, Jack & Jill, and Sideman.
