Opening Thursday, September 24th, the Milburn Stone Theatre at Elkton Station presents Beau Willimon's political power house, Farragut North. Farragut North follows Stephen Bellamy, a political wunderkind finding tremendous success as the press secretary for Governor Morris in his bid to run for the presidency on the Democratic ticket in a crowded and competitive playing field. Will Stephen's meteoric rise fall prey to the backroom politics of more seasoned operatives as they lust for power in a winner takes all primary battle? Loosely based on the 2004 Democratic primary race of Howard Dean, Farragut North is the perfect play for political junkies, but has enough drama, suspense and wit to entertain and intrigue all. Farragut North was written by Beau Willimon, creator of the U.S. version of the Netflix series, House of Cards.

Farragut North stars Cecil County resident, Adam J. Wahlberg (MST's Company, Merrily We Roll Along, Jekyll & Hyde and Young Frankenstein) in a tour-de-force performance as Stephen Bellamy. The show co-stars Daniel Tucker, Phil Hansel, Melissa Redfield, Melanie Bishop, Zackary Jackson and Timothy Sheridan.

Farragut North runs September 24th, 25th, 26th & 27th, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are $15 per person and $5 with a Cecil College ID. Tickets can be purchased by visiting milburnstone.org or by calling the box office: (410) 287-1037. Due to language and content, Farragut North is only recommended for audience members 13 and up.
