Everyman Theatre will wrap up its 2014/15 Season with the hysterical and witty comedy Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward. The production is directed by Everyman Theatre's Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi and will run from tonight, May 27th through June 28th.

Blithe Spirit is a clever comedy gem from well beyond the grave! As inspiration for his new novel, Charles Condomine invites the wonderfully eccentric medium Madame Arcati to perform a séance in his house. When things go terribly awry, Charles suddenly finds himself caught in an improbable love triangle between his naïve living wife, Ruth, and his decidedly "spirited" former wife, Elvira.

Celebrated DC actress Nancy Robinette will return to Everyman to play the eccentric medium Madame Arcati. Ms. Robinette was last seen at Everyman in its Grand Opening performance of August: Osage County. She portrayed Mattie Fae Aiken in this critically acclaimed production. Ms. Robinette is well known throughout the DC region for her performances at Arena Stage, the Folger, Shakespeare Theatre, Ford's Theatre, Studio Theatre and Theater J, among others. She has recently been seen in Mary Stuart (Folger Theatre), Driving Miss Daisy (Ford's Theatre), Happy Days (Scena Theatre), Tribes (Studio Theatre) and After the Revolution (Theater J). She is also a three time Helen Hayes Award winner for her work in The Little Foxes (Shakespeare Theatre), The Rivals (Shakespeare Theatre) and Souvenir (Studio Theatre).

Joining Ms. Robinette will be four members from Everyman's Resident Acting Company. Bruce Randolph Nelson will portray Charles Condomine. Earlier this season Mr. Nelson was featured in Everyman's productions of Deathtrap, Ruined and Ghosts. Mr. Nelson has also recently appeared at Center Stage in Amadeus, Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike and Animal Crackers.

Resident Company Member Megan Anderson will play Charles Condomine's wife, Ruth. Ms. Anderson was last seen as The Pilot in the one-woman tour-de-force Grounded. She also performed the role at The Olney Theatre Center this winter. Ms. Anderson has also been featured in recent productions of Tribes, The Dresser and Crimes of the Heart.

Beth Hylton will portray Mr. Condomine's "spirited" wife, Elvira. Ms. Hylton has been seen earlier this season in Everyman's productions of Deathtrap and The Understudy. She has also recently appeared at Round House Theatre in Rapture, Blister, Burn and Rep Stage in Circle Mirror Transformation.

Carl Schurr will appear as Dr. Bradman. He was last seen on the Everyman stage as Sir in The Dresser. He has also been featured in recent productions of August: Osage County, Heroes and You Can't Take It With You. Mr. Schurr also directed the last Noel Coward that Everyman performed -- 2011's Private Lives.

Rounding out the cast will be Helen Hedman as Mrs. Bradman and Julia Brandeberry as Edith. Ms. Hedman last appeared at Everyman in 2011's Pygmalion. She also has extensive credits with Arena Stage, Signature Theatre Round House Theatre and Rep Stage. Ms. Brandeberry was last seen on the Everyman stage in The Beaux' Strategem. She also appeared as Mrs. Soames in the 2010 production of Our Town.
