Dundalk Community Theatre kicks of its 41st season with a blast from the past, Leader of the Pack. Director/Choreographer Tom Wyatt transports the audience back the 1960's to experience the life and music of Ellie Greenwich. Greenwich songs include some of the most popular songs of that decade: "Chapel of Love", "Be My Baby", "And Then He Kissed Me", and "Da Do Ron Ron" to name a few. The show runs from October 24 to November 2. Individual tickets are $23 for adults, $20 for senior adults and $15 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under.

Leader of the Pack was nominated for Best Musical in 1985. The story begins with a teenage girl, Ellie Greenwich, with dreams of a career in the music industry. After she graduates she writes and records her first hit single. She then meets the man who will become her songwriting partner and future husband. Their relationship is told through their music: "Today I Met The Boy I'm Gonna Marry", "I Wanna Love Him So Bad/Do Wah Diddy", "And Then He Kissed Me", "Hanky Panky" and finally "Chapel Of Love". They became an unstoppable duo writing music for Darlene Love, The Crystals, The Shangri-Las, Connie Francis and The Ronettes.
