Cockpit in Court continues its 2015 season with a special treat for murder mystery fans. An Evening of Murder consists of two murder mysteries for the price of one. The Book of Murder and Art of Murder will be presented each night of its run. The show runs from July 18th to August 2nd. Individual tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for senior adults.

The Book of Murder (By: Ron Cowen) tells the tale of Henry Aythecliff, a once successful writer. Heavily in debt, he summons his three ex-wives to his house to extort money from them. After explaining his plans to each of the women in secret meeting, Henry turns up dead. The clues point to each of the wives. Can the young detective sort through the clues to figure out who the real killer is before he becomes the next?

Art of Murder (By: Joe DiPietro) 2000 Edgar Award Winner for Best Mystery Play.

In a remote estate, Jack Brooks, an accomplished and eccentric painter awaits the arrival of his art dealer. Jack wants his last piece of Art to be sold for one million dollars. However the art dealer thinks it is worth very little. Jack has concocted a plan to kill him if he doesn't agree. He believes his wife has agreed to the bizarre plot. Things don't go as planned. Who is deceiving who? This well constructed play combined with humor and mystery will keep most guessing until the end.
