Clear Space Theatre Company to Launch Audience Appreciation Days

The Clear Space Theatre Company of Rehoboth Beach has announced their spring "Audience Appreciation Days" - free performances at the close of their spring Performing Arts Institute semester. "Audience Appreciation Days are our thank you gift to the community." Clear Space Executive Director Wesley Paulson was quoted as saying, and continued "These free performances offer audiences the chance to celebrate the accomplishments of our students in the Performing Arts Institute classes."

On Tuesday, March 22, at 5:30 p.m. the Clear Space Broadway Bound class will present three musical numbers - including "Popular" from the musical WICKED, as well as demonstrations of dance and acting techniques learned during the ten-week class. The class is comprised of young performers ages 6-14 studying the craft of musical theater with local professionals Sydney Grey (dance), Melanie Bradley (music) and Jann Ellis (acting). The performance is free to the public.

The free performances continue with a concert performances of a condensed version of GYPSY by the Broadway Legends class on Wednesday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. Broadway Legends is offered to students over 50 who have an interest in musical theatre, and is directed by Clear Space Artistic Director David Button with musical direction and accompaniment by Melanie Bradley. This performance is also offered free as a gift to the community from Clear Space Theatre.

In addition to these free performances, the Clear Space "Spotlight on Young Performers" offers "INTO THE WOODS (JR. version)" Friday, April 15 - Sunday, April 17 for $15 a person. Tickets are also available for "ANYTHING GOES", on stage from March 18 - April 3.
