Beth Tfiloh Community Theatre Sends Audiences on an Adventure with PIPPIN

After being nominated for seven Maryland Theatre Guide Reader's Choice Awards, the Beth Tfiloh Community Theatre (BTCT) presents the Tony Award-winning musical, Pippin, on August 20th at 2:00pm, and August 22nd and 23rd at 7:00 pm. All performances will take place in the Mintzes Theatre at the H. Morton Rosen Arts Center, located at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School at 3300 Old Court Road in Pikesville, Maryland.

Pippin tells the story of a young prince who longs to find passion and adventure in his life. To prove his loyalty to his distracted father, King Charles, Pippin goes to war. But when the Leading Player convinces the prince to fight tyranny, Pippin kills Charles and takes over the throne. The timeless musical is set to a whimsical score from the legendary Stephen Schwartz

The production features regional actors Nancy Hart and Kerry Jungwirth, plus rising performers Samuel Boelen and Nicole Smith. Award-winning director Diane Smith leads the journey, with musical direction by Chris Rose, and choreography by James Hunnicutt.

Join us for a magical night of theatre! Pippin runs 100 minutes with an intermission.

This show is rated PG-13 for mild adult language.
