France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, home of the Hippodrome Theatre, has just announced its next season!

The historic Baltimore venue will host the Broadway tours of SOMETHING ROTTEN!, BEAUTIFUL, FINDING NEVERLAND, and many more. Check out the full listing below.

"We usually don't get the big shows the first tour year," says France-Merrick Performing Arts Center's President Ron Legler. "The changes we made to booking this season - one-week runs instead of two - made us a stronger market."

He tells the Baltimore Sun that the change also frustrated some patrons, causing a decrease in subscriptions.

"We lost about 5 percent, way less than we expected," Legler said. "We tried to help everyone, and we still want to help as many people stay happy as we can."

The season will kick off with JERSEY BOYS (Sept. 27-Oct. 2). It continues with family favorites CINDERELLA (Nov. 1-6) and A CHRISTMAS STORY (Dec. 6-11), followed by the 2014 Tony Award-winning murderous musical comedy, A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER (Dec. 27-Jan. 1). Another Tony Award-winning biographical jukebox musical, BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL, will kick off 2017, with performances Jan. 24-29. Fresh off its UK tour, THE BODYGUARD will hit the Hyppodrome in February, 2017, with a cast led by Deborah Cox (JEKYLL & HYDE).

In a 20th anniversary revival presentation, The Hippodrome will present the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning RENT (March 31-April 2), followed by SOMETHING ROTTEN!, a comedy about the history of musicals (Apr. 18-23). FINDING NEVERLAND, the musical adaptation of the film of the same name about how Peter became Pan, will round out the season with a summer engagement (June 27-July 2).
