CCBC Catonsville theatre students will perform Italian playwright Dario Fo's controversial play "Accidental Death of an Anarchist" 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10 and Friday and Saturday, Nov. 12-13, 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 11 and 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12 in the Q Building Theatre at CCBC Catonsville, 800 South Rolling Road. Tickets are $8 general admission and $5 for seniors, students, CCBC faculty, staff and alumni and are available from the CCBC Box Office at 443-840-ARTS (2787) or at the door.

The play focuses on police and political corruption in 1960s Italy but its message will resonate with today's audiences. The plot explores the cover-up of a death of a protestor - was it suicide, an accident or murder? Impersonation, infiltration and double-talk add comic relief while making the answer even more uncertain. Despite its sobering content, comedy - almost slapstick comedy-abounds. But don't be caught off-guard.

Yasha Langer of Owings Mills as the Maniac, Kenda Svoboda of Owings Mills as Bertozzo, Michelle Cassel of Owings Mills as Pissani, Colby Sample of Arbutus as Constables, Logan Burke of Pasadena as the Superintendent and Lauren Brooks of Arbutus as Feletti make up the cast for this production. Professor Carl Freundel directs.
