Rachel Riendeau Hayes is an actress, born and raised in Vermont, who recently returned to the Green Mountain State to pursue storytelling full time as a performer, writer, and producer of independent films and sketch comedy. After working consistently in New York for over a decade, Rachel continues her love of theater in Vermont, supporting and performing with the professional theaters locally. She also has an improv team that is featured frequently at the Vermont Comedy Club in Burlington. Her and her husband own and operate a film production company called Pretty Beard Productions that creates original content as well as offering services for local business for web video with personality. Their films have won several awards and their web series and sketches have gained viral views and attention. Rachel started a blog when she moved back in 2015 documenting the change in lifestyle from a big city to a small pond that is available at smallpondadventure.wordpress.com. Her love for theater is deep and she continues to keep up with her beloved Broadway from afar, reading reviews, making theater weekend trips, and devouring all she can in the performing world.
