Ghostlight Records has just released the original Broadway cast recording of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, the new musical currently running at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The album - produced by Joel Moss and Kurt Deutsch, with Joey Parnes serving as Executive Producer - features a 40-page booklet with complete lyrics, color photos, a synopsis by librettist Robert L. Freedman and an essay by renowned theater writer and critic David Cote. The cast just celebrated the album release at Joe Allen and you can check out photos from the special event below!

The awards were presented at the League's 2014 Awards Celebration & Big Mingle Reception to be held at The Irene Diamond Stage (The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street) featuring emcee Tamara Tunie. The music of the late composer Dory Previn was celebrated at a gala for the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre last night. Best-known as the writer of such hit songs as 'Theme from Valley of the Dolls,' 'Mary C. Brown and the Hollywood Sign,' 'With My Daddy in the Attic,' 'You're Gonna Hear from Me,' DORY PREVIN was a legendary figure as a pop-folk singer-song-writer in the 60's-70's and 80's. The Gala performance was directed by Rachel Chavkin (NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812), with musical direction by Jon Spurney. Sixty-four exceptional students were nominated from each of the six cities BDF visited this summer to showcase their talents before an audience of the industry's top casting directors, agents and directors. The box office of the newly renovated Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) opened yesterday, November 25, 2013, for The Bridges of Madison County, which will begin performances on Friday, January 17, 2014. The opening night is set for Thursday, February 27, 2014. Rehearsals will begin Monday, December 9, 2013. In celebration of the opening, customers who visited the box office between 10AM and 11AM were entered to win a special, grand prize - an original love song, written and performed by Jason Robert Brown.
