Holly Beretto's first Broadway show was the original Broadway cast of Into the Woods, and she still remembers the weather from that theater class trip. She writes about food and wine, the arts and interesting people for a variety of Houston and regional publications, including Arts + Culture, Bayou City, Galveston Monthly,Talk Story and Kailua Town (Hawaii) magazines, as well as Arizona State University alumni magazine. She is a contributor to Houston Eater.com and 365ThingsToDoInHouston.com. Holly earned her B.A. in Mass Communication wtih a minor in professional writing from Franklin Pierce College and an M.A. in Communication Studies with an emphasis on journalism and journalism history from St. Louis University. She is currently at work on her first book, a history of St. Michael Catholic Church, due out in December, 2015.
