Funny thing about LA: celebrities live here and we are surrounded by them. They are just like you and me, normal people doing what they love to do, but they are thrusted into the public eye and we recognize them, ask for photos and autographs and then we feel content that we met that person and got a memento.

Big day here at the Poppins as big changes are happening. First I had to fuel myself with a good brunch at this great restaurant called 26 beach restaurant. Touring is fun when you're able to go out and discover some amazing restaurants. If you ever go on tour, make sure to take advantage of all the amazing sights that each city has to offer.

Thursday. Usually a day of only one show. A day where a paycheck is magically delivered to your bank account by direct deposit or by check to your hands by a company manager... Well today was no ordinary Thursday! First of all, because it is our last week in Los Angeles, the crew will be loading out the show right after the matinee on Sunday to get it to the east coast so they changed the schedule around to have a matinee and an evening performance today. Tonight's audience was off the HOOK! They were hooting and hollering and clapping and screaming and making us feel like rockstars. I'm sorry to say that a good audience gets a better performance out of people on stage. Not that much better, but still, if we have a crowd that is incredible, the actors will be electrified and have more energy. That's just the truth.

Ah LA. Another day full of fun things to do before heading to the show. First the fun things. Met up with my pal Matthew Rocheleau. You may have seen him on the Fiat commercial a while back. The commercial is about this gorgeous Italian woman and then Matthew is in it somewhere. All I remember is this gorgeous Italian woman...

Tuesday in LA! What to do what to do... Hmmm.... Let me look at my calendar since I plan my days weeks in advance! Today: Tea with Jane Carr (who was the original Mrs. Brill in the Broadway cast of Poppins) then gym and then a show at 7:30...

So I woke up today and had the great pleasure of going to a photo shoot for this really cool project called 'Words with Friends' (no relation to the mobile game that is like Scrabble). The shoot took just 45 minutes. I had to come up with some sayings to write on my body, things that I wanted to say, that mattered to me. You'll be able to read them soon. It was fun and the photographer, Adrien, who is also the creator of the project, was so sweet.
