The cast of the hit musical SPRING AWAKENING paid a visit to the haunted halls of horror at BLOOD MANOR to see what all the screaming is about!

Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words continues its sit-down, open-ended run at the Triad Theater, 158 West 72 Street, Monday evenings at 7:30pm. BWW TV spoke with Eugene Pack, the man who created the comedic concept about how it all came to hilarious life.

Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway will play its final performance on January 15th, 2009, the 27th anniversary of the show's debut at Palsson's Supper Club in 1982. The newest edition, 'Forbidden Broadway Goes to Rehab' now playing at the 47Th Street Theatre had it's Opening Night on Wednesday, September 17th and the BWW TV cameras were there let you share in all the fun!

Broadway's brightest stars came out on Sunday afternoon, September 14th to Times Square to celebrate the annual Broadway on Broadway celebration. Spamalot's Drew Lachey hosted the annual free outdoor concert which brings together stars and performances from current and upcoming Broadway productions to celebrate the beginning of the new Broadway season.

The final curtain fell on Broadway for the landmark musical Rent on September 7th, 2008. But the power of the show lives on with 'Rent:Filmed Live On Broadway'. BWW TV spoke with the multi-talented Justin Johnston, who portrays 'Angel' in the film, a role he essayed on Broadway for over 7 years right up to the musical's final performance.

The the stars of the upcoming national tour of The Donmar Warehouse production of Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan, met the press on Friday, September 19th at the New 42nd Street Studios. Award-winning stage and screen actor Stacy Keach takes on the role of President Richard Nixon and is joined by Alan Cox as David Frost. BroadwayWorld TV had the opportunity to chat with the play's celebrated leads.

'Spring Awakening: In The Flesh', arrived in bookstores this month and to celebrate the arrival, the book's author David Cote was joined by the show's Tony Award-Winning creators Steven Sater (Book & Lyrics) and Duncan Sheik (Music) on Monday, September 15 and had an informative 'conversation' - on the show, the music and its long-running success at The Barnes & Noble Store at the Lincoln Triangle (1972 Broadway @ 66th Street). BWW TV caught all the action as the show's creators discussed the story, the acclaimed cast sang the songs and audience learned more about the sensation that is Spring Awakening.

Brandi Burkhardt has starred in the Los Angeles Reprise! Production of Li'l Abner and in Jekyll & Hyde: Resurrection. In A Tale of Two Cities she stars as Lucie Manette, she is also making her Broadway debut in the role. BWW TV discussed with her what a pivtol role her character plays in the story, the magic of Charles Dickens words and how excitied she is to be a part of this epic production.

As an actor Ron Sharpe made his mark on Broadway in such shows like Les Miserables, The Civil War and The Scarlet Pimpernel, he has just returned to the Great White Way, but not as a performer, this time he is the executive producer, along with his wife, actress Barbara Russell, of A Tale of Two Cities, the new musical which opened on Broadway Thursday, September 18th. BWW TV spoke to him on the eve of the show's opening night about his nine year adventure in bringing A Tale of Two Cities and his Broadway dreams to life.

BroadwayWorld TV chatted with the engaging young talent about the thrill of making his big debut on the Broadway stage!

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) celebrates its fifth year with 24 full productions, a dance series, a developmental series, concerts and special events. This year's Festival will begin September 15th and continue through October 5th. BWW TV brings you a small preview of some of the musicals that will be featured during the highly acclaimed festival. They were presented as part of the NYMF press day preview that took place Monday September 8th at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center.

This week Playboy announced its online 'Fall Fashion Guide' which launched to coincide with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It features prominent actor, dancer and model Nick Adams to help showcase the Americana-inspired autumnal styles. Adams, 25, recently starred in Broadway's 'A Chorus Line' as Larry and soon will be recognized for his upcoming 2(x)ist underwear campaign. The talented and very busy young actor let BroadwayWorld TV tag along as he spent the day at the Playboy offices in preparation for the online pictorials launch.
