Ben McNaboe

Ben McNaboe Ben McNaboe is a New England based musician, theatre music director, conductor and arranger currently earning his graduate degree at the University of Maine School of Performing Arts with concentrations in music education and orchestral conducting. A Maine native, Ben has appeared as a music director, teaching artist, and musician at multiple educational and professional theaters and is the resident music director at the School of Performing Arts at UMaine. Ben has played for or conducted over 50 musical productions throughout New England. Recent music directorial credits include The Last Five Years (Penobscot Theatre Co.), Urinetown (Univ. of Maine), Young Frankenstein (Waterville Opera House), and Robin and Clark’s Aladdin (Maine State Music Theatre). An avid pops conductor and arranger, Ben has conducted, music directed, and conceived fundraiser pops concerts at the 1500 seat Collins Center for the Arts featuring a full orchestra and collaborations with Broadway artists Merritt David Janes and Stephanie Burkett Gerson. He is also thrilled to serve on the music staff at Maine State Music Theatre, an equity regional summer stock theatre in Maine. Ben is excited to be covering University and Educational theatre productions on behalf of Broadwayworld.com throughout Maine.
