Elizabeth, Colleen, Maria Theresa, and Wanda attend St George's Catholic School in Yonkers, New York, USA, Earth, and the Universe. Sometimes Maria Theresa wishes her family would get hospitalised in a car crash; Wanda dreams of the day she'll be famous like Nancy Sinatra; Colleen reads Playboy, but doesn't let boys touch her 'down there'; and Elizabeth discovers a shocking and life-changing fact about her beloved Jesus.

Catholic School Girls, by Casey Kurtti, is a delicious, coming-of-age comedy about the childhood ties that bind, the stripes that hurt, and sex education: Catholic style. From the director of last year's hit, Minefields and Miniskirts, Catarina Hebbard, Catholic School Girls examines the personal impact of institutions that stand unyielding and unchanging in rapidly-moving times, and the ingenious determination of the vulnerable to survive.

Featuring a smokin' Sixties' dance track, Catholic School Girls is a story for everyone who had a primary education, for every girl growing or grown, and for every boy who wants to understand the girls across the aisle a little better.
