Geoffrey Rush will lead John Frost's production of Sondheim's A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, which opens in Melbourne Saturday, October 27 at Her Majesty's Theatre and runs for twelve weeks. The show is directed by Simon Phillips.  BroadwayWorld has a Q&A session with the cast.  Check out the video!

Joining Rush (The Diary of a Madman, Exit the King, "Shine") is Michael Butel as Hysterium, Shane Bourne as Senex, Hugh Sheridan as Hero, Christie Whelan as Philia, Adam Murphy as Miles Gloriosus, Bob Hornery as Erronius, Magda Szubanski as Domina and Gerry Connolly as Marcus Lycus.

The costume and set design is by Gabriela Tylesova, choreography by Andrew Hallsworth, musical direction by Matthew Frank and musical supervision by Guy Simpson. John Frost, who produced the Australian productions of Wicked, Phantom of the Opera and Chicago, is producing the Melbourne production.
