On the 2nd December, long time host of the cult classic show Chartbusting 80s, Queen Josie, will remind us again why the eighties was such a great decade as we relive the Chartbusting 80's Live on stage!

Queen Josie promises it will be a night of everything that you loved about the Chartbusting 80s, from classic 80's video clips, trivia competitions artist interviews and live performances featuring the 'who's who' of Australian music royalty - Eurogliders, The Chantoozies, Brian Mannix from Uncanny X-Men, Dale Ryder from Boom Crash Opera, Scott Carne from Kids In The Kitchen.

Queen Josie presented Chartbusting 80s in unique 80s outfits with her hair styled to match. She provided her own floorshow as the videos broadcast, rolling on the floor a la Madonna or doing a perfect handbag dance, like the girls in the Angel in a Centrefold clip. Could this happen in the live shows?!

Queen Josie has been described as 'having the body of Sophia Loren, the mouth of a wharfie and more front than Myer'. Has Josie changed since the show ended in 2007? Queen Josie says about her return ' Soooo excited to bring Chartbusting 80s to the stage atThe Athenaeum Theatre. Chartbusting 80s was Channel 31's highest-rating show. It was the biggest show on community TV and is a nostalgic look at the fashions, film clips and faux pas of the decade that style forgot. The show was a spicy, fun-filled hour dedicated to 80's music and pop culture. Each Saturday night CB80s host, Josie Parrelli would present classic music videos, interviews with national and International Artists, plus performances by original artists and retro cover bands all recorded live in the studio. With Jeff Jenkins digging up the latest gossip on those gone but not forgotten eighties stars, Chartbusting 80's was the only place on Channel 31 to satisfy your spandex fetish, or discover a decade you may have [un]fortunately missed out on!

Chartbusting 80s grew out of Josie's love of eighties music and culture. The first show went to air on 1 November 2000.

Chartbusting 80s showed interviews and live performances from legendary eighties' acts such as Mental as Anything, Pseudo Echo, Kids in the Kitchen, The Models, Boney M, Joan Armatrading, Brian Mannix, Ross Wilson and Russell Morris. Season Five featured an exclusive interview with Gene Simmons of Kiss.

OzTam figures showed that the viewing audience was 137,000 and over each episode.

Chartbusting 80s was produced from 2000 to 2007, just as youtube was taking off!

In 2008 Josie Parrelli won a Channel 31 Antenna Award for Outstanding Contribution to Community Television. Chartbusting 80s released 5 DVDs - DVD 1 broke the ARIA charts debuting at #28. The DVD was a huge success with Josie being the recipient of an ARIA Gold Disc in June 2007 for sales of Chartbusting 80s DVD1 - this is the first time ever a community television show has received such an accolade.
