Po Po Mo Co - a cavalcade of outrageous and rambunctious queer performers are set to unleash their hair raising, pube curling comedy on audiences at the Melbourne Fringe in 2016.

The brainchild of Kimberley Twiner, PO PO MO CO (aka Post Post Modern Comedy) have earned a sassy comedic reputation across 2016. Months of work has seen red hot, radical and raging shows pumped out monthly since the Midsumma Festival in January. PO PO MO CO are the resident comedy ensemble at Hares & Hyenas in Fitzroy, drawing crowds, selling out shows and running fundraisers.

Twiner, on her impetus to start the group, said; "I wanted to bring together a group of shit hot, unapologetic performers who I've spied around the comedy traps of Melbourne. This is an ensemble who can bring it, with a wicked sense of humour and willing to be ruthless in creating NEW comedy." Taking physical comedy and theatrics to new extremes the group proudly revel in the high-risk night that leaves an audience thirsty for more.

Twiner adds, "We've had sell out shows this year. A particularly special event was our fundraiser in solidarity with those affected by the shootings in Orlando. That night saw queer identifying people together in a celebration and reclamation of queer space. We nurture queer flair and imagination, from the rough, shambolic, experimental to the shiniest, most made up and extravagant!'

For the fringe they promise their slickest work. Audiences must expect the full gamut - drag, contemporary clown, neo burlesque, performance art, sketch comedy, character guises, cult vaudeville, seething parody, drag, menacing mask work and political satire. Expect butt cheeks, camel toes, nip slips and running mascara from tears of laughter!

This group of stylish and talented queer performers share credits across TV, Theatre, Film, Circus, Comedy and Design. The core ensemble members have found their training in such places as the prestigious Ecole Philippe Gaulier, John Bolton Theatre School, NICA and VCA. The group is comprised of Amaya Vecellio, Anna Lehman Thomson, Claire Sullivan, David Maney, Ezel Doruk, Hannah Camilleri, Jon Clarke, Kimberley Twiner and Thomas Quirk.

Po Po Mo Co's Fringe season runs for three nights only on September 15th, 16th, 17th at 9pm. Tickets $20/$15. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/postpostmoderncomedy.
