[title of show] 6 - 16 October 2010 Brisbane's award-winning Oscar Theatre Company isbringing the Queensland premiere of Broadway'shilarious hit musical, [title of show] to the BrisbanePowerhouse this October.
Based on true events, the show chronicles the journey of two nobodies in New York, Hunter andJeff, as they set themselves the unenviable task of creating an original musical, bound forBroadway. Enlisting the help of their lady friends Susan and Heidi, this unlikely foursome sets outto create a kick ass show that will get lots of peeps (well, lots of peeps with loads of money) to likethem. Nay, love them.
Oscar Theatre Company is committed to producing contemporary works and providing further showcase opportunities for Queensland artists.
Originally inspired by New York's Off-Broadwaymusical theatre scene, Oscar's most recent production was the Matilda Award winning statepremiere of THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE at the Roundhouse Theatre.
