After sold-out shows at the Melbourne Fringe Festival and Perth's Fringe World Festival, Michael Shafar debuts Jewish-ish at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Michael is one of the country's most exciting new comics having headlined around Australia, New Zealand and Asia. He also happens to be Jewish, which is something he will probably mention on stage.

Michael is a 2016 RAW Comedy National Finalist, hosts the constantly sold-out Melbourne Comedy's Rising Stars and has performed to sell-out crowds in 3 Course Comedy at Perth's Fringe World and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He also hosted Channel 31's The Leak, is the creator of the satirical webpage Round Squares and writes for Channel 10's The Project.

In his debut show, Michael brings a Jewish-ish perspective to politics, religion and bagels.
