IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, a new stage adaptation of the beloved classic film is coming to the Woodlawn Theatre this holiday season. The whole family will enjoy this uplifting production which opens on November 28.

This heartwarming musical adaptation features seventeen Irving Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and finding their perfect mates in the bargain. Full of dancing, romance, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, including Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep, Happy Holiday, How Deep Is the Ocean, Sisters, Blue Skies, and the unforgettable title song, IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS promises to be a merry and uplifting experience for the entire family/

White Christmas the Musical plays through December 28 every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Industry Night is December 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.woodlawntheatre.org, or by calling the box office at 210-267-8388. Prices are $15 for students and children, $20 for seniors and military, and $23 for adults. Groups of 10 people or more receive a 10% discount.

White Christmas played on Broadway from 2008 to 2010. The New York Times claims "this cozy trip down memory lane should be put on your wish list." And, the New York Daily News hailed IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS as "a holiday card come to life."

The Woodlawn Theatre is San Antonio's historic local theatre, located in the heart of the Deco District at 1920 Fredericksburg Road, just south of Hildebrand. Free parking with security patrol is available.
