The biggest, most accessible and diverse arts venue in the Texas capital is proud to announce its 2014-2015 Season of Long Center Presents programming. With two never-before-seen in Austin Broadway musicals, evenings of classic Southern musical comfort, laugh out loud comedies and plenty of family offerings, the Long Center is Austin's destination for arts and entertainment this season. Beginning May 27, subscription packages will be available to the public.

Here's a look at the spectacular lineup:

America's Test Kitchen Live!
August 13

Step inside your television and experience the delicious art of cooking with America's Test Kitchen Live. The hit cooking show takes to the Long Center stage for a multi-media experience filled with testings, food tastings, and science experiments, all hosted by television star Christopher Kimball. Get an insider's view into one of the highest rated cooking shows on television, and find out what it's really like to work and host one of the most popular food programs on the air. Bring questions and come hungry; Christopher hosts a Q&A with the audience during every show! Tickets start at $35.

Crosby Stills & Nash
August 28

Folk rock supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash are known for their political activism and lasting influence on American culture, but their music and intricate vocal harmonies are what bring them to the Long Center. Playing since 1968, these Rock and Roll Hall of Famers straddle all flavors of popular music, from country rock to electric guitar to three-part harmonies. David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash played their first-ever concert as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival, and its members continue a creative partnership that is one of the most influential and enduring in music. The Intergalactic Nemesis: Twin Infinity
September 5 & 6

Don't miss the world premiere of the final installment of the Intergalactic trilogy: Twin Infinity.

Three actors voice the dozens of characters, a Foley artist creates all the sound effects, and a pianist plays a cinematic score, while more than 1,250 individual full-color hi-res comic book panels tell a hilarious sci-fi adventure story visually from an enormous movie screen. And it's all done live in front of your eyes.

If you've got an inner twelve-year-old (or an actual one living in your house) The Intergalactic Nemesis is one show you don't want to miss. The year is 1942. Are you ready for the adventure?

Evil Dead: The Musical
September 16 - 21

Experience Evil Dead like never before in this hilarious musical adaptation of the cult horror classic. Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It's all up to Ash (a housewares employee, turned demon-killing hero), and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons tell bad jokes... all set to a galvanic score of rock 'n' roll, pastiche tunes, and get-down-in-the-aisles-and-boogey-music! Tickets start at $17.

Bad Kid
Sep 24 - October 5

This hilariously heartwarming one-man show takes place in Seguine, Texas in 1991. It's the tale of a Goth boy who dreamed of being anywhere but the middle of Texas. The setting is specific but the story is universal as David Crabb reflects on rebellion, sexuality, friendship and what it means to grow up different and alone - just like everyone else. Nice Work If You Can Get It
October 1 & 2

Take a trip back to the 1920's with Nice Work If You Can Get It¸ a feel-good musical about an unlikely love story between a wealthy playboy and a rough and tumble lady bootlegger. This show comes complete with extravagant dance numbers, glittering costumes and memorable Gershwin hits, including "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Fascinating Rhythm." This sparkling tale combines laughter, romance and high-stepping Broadway magic for an evening bursting with girls, glamour and the glorious songs of Gershwin! Tickets start at $25.

The Gong Show Live!
October 16

The iconic classic TV show is brought to life on stage! Experience a professionally produced, professionally cast, theatrical recreation of Chuck Barris' landmark reality TV show. The show captures the hilarity, excitement and deranged lunacy of the beloved television show - but with professional performers masquerading as amateur talent contestants.

It is a 90 minute Off-Broadway level, multi-media production featuring a live band, star comedian judges and elements of audience participation. Tickets start at $26.

Shaping Sound
October 18

After a sold-out 13-city tour, Shaping Sound returns to the stage. Shaping Sound is the electrifying new show originally seen on the reality television series "All the Right Moves" that features Emmy Award nominees and stars of "So You Think You Can Dance" Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance and Kyle Robinson with a dynamic company of contemporary dancers. Experience the exhilarating collaboration of the newest dance visionaries as they mash-up music genres and dance styles in one explosive, commercial dance theater experience for all ages. rePLAY Symphony of Heroes
October 19

This the multimedia story of a hero...but it all starts with the music. From composers Nobuo Uematsu, Garry Schyman, Mike Morasky, John Debney, Jessica Curry, Inon Zur, Austin Wintory and more, our award-winning lineup brings you some of the best music that games have to offer. Many of the featured pieces are from games that have won Best Original Music Composition awards from industry groups such as the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), and the Game Audio Network Guild (GANG). Straight No Chaser
October 25

If the phrase "male a cappella group" conjures up an image of students in blue blazers, ties and khakis singing traditional college songs on ivied campuses... think again. Straight No Chaser are neither strait-laced nor straight faced, but neither are they vaudeville-style kitsch. They have emerged as a phenomenon with a massive fanbase, numerous national TV appearances and proven success with CD releases. The groups come to us hot on the heels of their fourth album Under the Influence, featuring contributions from superstars Jason Mraz, Rob Thomas, Phil Collins, Dolly Parton and more!

Jeanne Robertson

Burt Bacharach
November 23

Singer, songwriter, composer, producer, pianist, six-time Grammy Award winner and three-time Academy Award winner...impressed yet? What's will be even more impressive is this American music phenomenon playing Dell Hall! Burt Bacharach comes to Austin for an unforgettable evening of music and memories. With hits written for and performed by Dionne Warwick, The Carpenters, Dusty Springfield, Bobbie Gentry, Jackie DeShannon, Tom Jones, and B.J. Elf the Musical
November 28 - 30

Buddy the Elf has made the long trek from the North Pole to Broadway, and now he's taking Dell Hall in this magical, holiday musical based on the hit film. Elf is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. Buddy is raised unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities force him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a musical journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and his step-brother doesn't believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert
January 4

Disney in Concert
January 11

Canadian Brass

The Long Center has a new game in town: the game-changing brass quintet known as Canadian Brass. The ensemble that has performed in virtually every major concert hall in the world is about to add Austin's Long Center to that impressive list. This classical music group has been seen by hundreds of millions of people on television, sold 2 million of their 100 albums worldwide, and contributed nearly 600 new works and arrangements to the brass quintet repertoire. Elvis Lives!

Join us as we welcome the King of Rock to the Live Musical Capital of the World! Elvis Lives! is an unforgettable multi-media and live musical journey through the life of Elvis. 2CELLOS
February 28

Ready...set...play! Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser- in true millennial fashion- were discovered after uploading a video of their cello-only cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" to YouTube - and have been impressing audiences across the world ever since. With a sound described as cello rock, pop and classical, 2CELLOS appeared alongside Elton John, appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, and played at the 2011 iTunes Festival in London. This dynamic duo has brought their talent to the hit show Glee, The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace, and now the Long Center! Tickets start at $26.

Vienna Boys Choir
March 1

Boys have been singing at the court of the Holy Roman Emperor since the early 15th century. Today there are around 100 members of the Vienna Boys Choir between the ages of ten and fourteen, divided into four touring choirs, one of which will be making its way to Austin! The choir's repertoire includes everything from medieval to contemporary and experimental music. Experience the choir's rich tradition live at the Long Center. Tickets start at $26.

Lila Downs
April 12

Lila Downs has become one of the most innovative exponents of Mesoamerican music on both sides of the border. Her lyrics are high-minded and sentient and her sound is all encompassing. By drawing on a pan-Latin palette of music as well as American folk, jazz, blues and rock, Downs and her worldly band of kindred spirits, La Misteriosa, have won accolades and a devoted following of world music fans. Known for her smoky voice and magnetic performances, Downs has created a unique body of work that defies categorization in any single genre. Tickets start at $26.

Confessions of a Prairie Bitch
April 28 - May 3

And you thought she was out spoken on Little House on the Prairie? "TV history's #1 one bitch," Alison Arngrim, is taking her one woman comedy show on the road by popular demand. The little girl everyone loved to hate is giving audiences a reality check on "the facts of life" like no one else has ever done before, but sure as hell should have. Join Arngrim for a night of hilarity, entertainment and acid-tongue as Nellie ditches the prairie for the Long Center. Tickets start at $25.

Midtown Men
May 23

Oh what a night! This sensational production reunites the four stars from the original cast of Broadway's Jersey Boys. Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer, star in this one-of-a-kind concert experience celebrating the music that defined the '60s.
