While THE ILLUSIONISTS consists of seven world class magicians, it is anything but mundane. It has shattered box-office records while entertaining millions. Originally intended to be a short-run production, THE ILLUSIONISTS have performed for mesmerized audiences around the world.

Sleight of hand, manipulations and levitation are just some of the words mentioned when talking about magicians. But these words do not even begin to describe what one will witness while attending the touring show of THE ILLUSIONISTS. The Bass Concert Hall came alive with gasps, shrieks, laughter and applause as each Illusionist took the stage. Jeff Hobson (The Trickster) acted as Master of Ceremonies and host but he was equally talented sharing illusions and tricks utilizing audience participation. Kevin James (The Inventor) shared his unique illusions including his famous sawing a man in half illusion. The audience was entranced with Yu Ho-Jin (The Manipulator) whose poise and grace made the cards in his hands change and glide. Colin Cloud (The Deductionist) has been called a real life Sherlock Holmes. His genius and perception is uncanny as he reads audience members and shares his unique illusions. Dan Sperry (The Anti-Conjuror) combined some traditional illusions (i.e. making doves appear) with shock illusions and his distinctive comedic delivery. Ben Blaque (The Weapon Master) uses a crossbow to surprise and entertain. And finally, Andrew Basso (The Escapologist) performs thrilling escapes right in front of the audience including the famous Harry Houdini escape from a large glass tank filled with water that includes handcuffs, chains and padlocks.

Don't miss this distinct spectacular as it continues its run in Austin. THE ILLUSIONISTS plays in Austin, Texas at the Bass Concert Hall from Nov. 1-6, 2016. Get your tickets at the Texas Performing Arts website.
