Celebrating a decade of outstanding music and dance, Emory's Schwartz Center for Performing Arts announces the season for the 2012-2013 Flora Glenn Candler Concert Series.

The 2012-2013 Candler Concert Series brings a rich array of classical, jazz and contemporary music to Atlanta. Concerts include jazz innovator Branford Marsalis with his quartet; violinist Gil Shaham; the Warsaw Philharmonic; classical guitar duo Sérgio and Odair Assad; celebrated pianist Yefim Bronfman; violinist and composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR); bel canto tenor Lawrence Brownlee; and the string quartet Brooklyn Rider. The Schwartz Center also welcomes Monica Bill Barnes & Company as the season's special dance event.

Since 2003, the Schwartz Center has hosted hundreds of performances by world-renowned guest artists, talented students and faculty. The Schwartz Center will be celebrating with special 10th anniversary events in February; details coming soon at http://arts.emory.edu/candler.
