Sally Kellerman to Appear at Emory Screening of M*A*S*H*, 7/29

Join fabled Hollywood star Sally Kellerman and Emory's Department of Film and Media Studies for a screening of Robert Altman's 1970 classic anti-war film "M*A*S*H*", Sunday, July 29 at 10:15 a.m. at Atlanta's Landmark Midtown Art Theater. Following the screening, Kellerman will talk about the making of this groundbreaking film in a discussion moderated by Emory professor Eddy von Mueller. A VIP champagne brunch follows at Apres Diem.

Oscar nominated for her legendary comic performance as Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houllihan, Kellerman has also starred in Altman's "Brewster McCloud" and-with Lauren Bacall, Sophia Loren, Marcello Mastroianni and Julia Roberts-"Pret-a-Porter". She has also had leading roles in "The Last of the Red Hot Lovers" opposite Alan Arkin, "Welcome to L.A." with Keith Carradine and Harvey Keitel, "Foxes" with Jodie Foster and "Back to School" opposite Rodney Dangerfield. In addition to appearing in over 90 films and TV shows, including episodes of classic series from the 1960s such as "Star Trek" and "I Spy" to today's "Law and Order: L.A." and "Beverly Hills 90210", Kellerman has resumed her singing career in album recordings and cabaret shows.

Proceeds benefit Friends of Film in the Department of Film and Media Studies at Emory University.
