Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, will ring in 2015 with the romantic comic romp One Slight Hitch by the "King of Rant" himself, Lewis Black. Popular Atlanta director and actor Alan Kilpatrick directs the production. The comedy runs at GET tonight, January 8th through the 25th, 2015 at the Theatre's home, the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell, GA. Scroll down for a first look at the cast in action!

One Slight Hitch by Lewis Black. Yes, THAT Lewis Black -- The Daily Show guy. And he's written a play. So hang on to your seats! Doc and Delia Coleman (played by Mark Cabus and Karen Howell) are throwing eldest daughter Courtney (Kelly Criss) the lavish wedding they never had. The groom (Matt Felten) is perfect, the dress is perfect, and the decorations (assuming they arrive) will be perfect. Then, like in any good farce, the doorbell rings, ... and one slight hitch wreaks glorious havoc on all of their plans. So much for perfect.

The terrific cast also includes Jeremy Wood as Courtney's ex-boyfriend, Ryan, and Jennifer Alice Acker and Bekah Medford as the Coleman sisters. The design team features a set by Seamus Bourne, costumes by Abby Parker, lights by Bryan Rosengrant, and sound by Jason Polhemus. Stephanie Polhemus serves as stage manager.

Please note that this production contains some adult "spicy" language. Ticket prices for One Slight Hitch range from $25 to $35 (Senior/Student discounts available for select performances). "Recession-Buster" perimeter tickets may also be purchased for $10 based on availability. Tickets are available now online at www.get.org, or by calling the Box Office at 770-641-1260.

The Georgia Ensemble Theatre and Conservatory provides quality theatre productions and arts education to the north metro Atlanta area. The Company annually produces five mainstage productions, attended by more than 30,000 patrons, as well as three Theatre for Youth productions and year-round classes for all ages.
