Steven Carse is an easy-going, loyal employee of insurance giant AIG, that is until he is let go in 2009 during the financial crisis. With no prospects for work, he sets up a popsicle stand that soon becomes not only an icon of Atlanta, but a symbol of the pursuit of doing what you love. The popsicle cart's success catches the eye of Gia, a powerful business woman, who takes matters into her own hands when Steven refuses her offer to make him a real king. Once this evil baroness finds a suitable queen to overtake his business, a clash of the crowns ensues-a battle between Steven and his band of fellow food truckers, and Gia's growing army of coldblooded cone clones. Outnumbered and overpowered, the food truck flock sees their world become whitewashed in vanilla villainy. But you can't keep a good King down, and the benevolant ice-treat ruler must fight for his right to reign supreme.

After taking Atlanta by storm, the next stop for the King of Pops is our stage! And you can be sure that this sweet summer show is bursting with a whole lot of action-packed flavor. Have you ever wondered how that familiar rainbow umbrella protecting those frosty Chocolate Sea Salts came to be? Well, it turns out that the ruler of those tasty treats has a fantastic origin story - and we're going to tell it. Mike Schatz, the creator of V.I.P. Room and Apnea is about to wow your paleta-loving-pallet with the story of a determined young man who left his job in the corporate world to follow his dream of bringing popsicles to the people. Oh, and yeah - and there will be pops. Duh. We aren't that cold.
