The holiday season is a very special time for the Fox Theatre. The beloved Atlanta landmark opened its doors on Christmas Day in 1929 to a sold out crowd. The first audiences were treated to a live performance from dancing girls, the original Steam Boat Willie Disney cartoon, the Mighty Mo organ and finally a movie, "Salute".

To celebrate the holiday season, and feature the magnificent theatre organ, the Fox Theatre will give the Atlanta community an early gift by hosting the 10th annual FREE holiday event Mighty Mo & More presented by Georgia Natural Gas on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 4:00 p.m. See other details below:

· Doors open at 3:00 p.m.

· Did we mention IT'S FREE?!

· The Fox will be celebrating the holiday events 10th year!

· Snow will be falling... on Peachtree Street.

· The Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long is led by the famous "Mighty Mo" organ, one of the largest Mollër theatre organs in the world.

· The Sing-A-Long will be accompanied by Larry Douglas Embury.

· Wendell Scott from ATLANTA'S CW69 hosts.

· Following the Sing-A-Long and performances, will be a showing of the 1947 holiday classic "Miracle on 34th Street".

· The Fox Theatre will also be accepting donations for Project Live Love during the event

· Project Live Love's THREE-OH-WE-GO! program is designed to help homeless people make it through the night warm and safe when the temperature in Atlanta drops below freezing.

· We are collecting packages of new socks that will be used this winter to help homeless men and women stay warm. Learn more at www.ThreeOhWeGo.com.

Reserve your tickets at the Fox Theatre ticket office or at foxtheatre.org. (Please note ticketing fees are applied when reserving online. There is a limit of six (6) tickets per person and everyone must have a ticket, including infants.)

The Fox Theatre will also feature special Holiday Tours this season. Tours will run every Monday, Thursday and Saturday through December at regularly scheduled times. The tour will be 60 minutes long, and will include warm cider or hot coco, seeing the famous Mighty Mo', the starry-skied auditorium and experience the feel of the season with amazing holiday decorations throughout the Fox Theatre.
