WORLD MUSIC INSTITUTE announces its 2013-14 season. The 29th season from this storied organization, a pioneer of the world music and dance scene. WMI brings global cultures to life for the modern audience through dynamic, interactive series and festivals

Three musical visionaries from across the globe
bring their singular voices to New York City

Christine Salem (10/4): Fiery trance-inducing singer from Réunion Island
